There are no special conditions for registering .AT domain names. If your .AT domain name is still available, you can register it without any restrictions whether you are a company, organization or private individual. You do not need to reside in Austria or, for companies, to be set up in Austria.

After the registration of a domain, the registry sends a domain certificate to the holder via e-mail, which proves the success of the registration and allows him to check the correctness of his data. This service is free of charge.
Renewal:
A renewal extends the domain name for one year. Renewal procedure must be carried out before the domain's expiration date otherwise the domain will switch to quarantine status for a 60 days period before being removed. During this status, the domain is no longer active but can still be restored.

Change of owner:
This procedure allows the owner to sell a domain name to a third party. A form duly signed by the seller and the buyer must sent back to NETIM.
