.ES domain name

Registration:

There are no special conditions for registering .ES domain names. If your .ES domain name is still available, you can register it without any restrictions whether you are a company, organization or private individual. You do not need to reside in Spain or, for companies, to be set up in Spain.

Renewal:

A renewal extends the domain name for one year. Renewal procedure must be carried out before the domain's expiration date otherwise the domain will be removed.

Change of owner:

This procedure allows the owner to sell a domain name to a third party. During a trade, the seller and the buyer receive an e-mail from the registry in order to approve the change. When the whole process is completed, the change is done.

It is intended for use by not-for-profit or public service enterprises (as non-exhaustive examples, charities, trades unions, political parties, community groups, educational councils, and professional institutions) but it is a fully opened domain.

In other words, if your .ORG.ES domain name is still available, you can register it without any restrictions whether you are a company, organization or private individual. You do not need to reside in Spain or, for companies, to be set up in Spain.
