.GL domain name

Registration:

There are no special conditions for registering .GL domain names. If your .GL domain name is still available, you can register it without any restrictions whether you are a company, organization or private individual. You do not need to reside in Greenland or, for companies, to be set up in Greenland.

Renewal:

Renewal procedure must be carried out before the domain's expiration date otherwise the domain will be locked for a 30 days period before being removed. During this status, the domain is no longer active but can still be renewed.

Change of owner:

This procedure allows the owner to sell a domain name to a third party. A form duly signed by the seller and the buyer must sent back to NETIM.

Registration:

There are no special conditions for registering .CO.GL domain names. It is intended for use by commercial enterprises and businesses but it is a fully opened domain.

In other words, if your .CO.GL domain name is still available, you can register it without any restrictions whether you are a company, organization or private individual. You do not need to reside in Greenland or, for companies, to be set up in Greenland.
