Registration of a .IT domain name is subject to the following restrictions:

Renewal:
A renewal extends the domain name for one year. Renewal procedure must be carried out before the domain's expiration date otherwise the domain will switch to quarantine status for a 30 days period before being removed. During this status, the domain is no longer active but can still be restored.

Change of owner:
