Registration:

There are no special conditions for registering .SE domain names. If your .SE domain name is still available, you can register it without any restrictions whether you are a company, organization or private individual. You do not need to reside in Sweden or, for companies, to be set up in Sweden.

Renewal:

A renewal extends the domain name for one to 9 years. Renewal procedure must be carried out before the domain's expiration date otherwise the domain will switch to quarantine status for 5 to 25 days before being removed. During this status, the domain is no longer active but can still be restored.

Change of owner:

This procedure allows the owner to sell a domain name to a third party. A form duly signed by the seller and the buyer must sent back to NETIM.

There is an alternative to the .SE extension. As a CentralNic accredited registrar, you can register domain names in .SE.COM and .SE.NET with NETIM.

The .SE.COM domain is a subdomain of .COM for the zone of Sweden.
