Registration:

Registration of a .UA domain name is subject to the following restrictions:

Renewal:

A renewal extends the domain name for 1 year. Renewal procedure must be carried out before the domain's expiration date otherwise the domain will switch to redemption status for a 30 days period before being destroyed. During this status, the domain is no longer active but can still be restored.

Change of owner:

This procedure allows the owner to sell a domain name to a third party. A form duly signed by the seller must sent back to NETIM.

Registration:

There are no special conditions for registering .COM.UA domain names. If your .COM.UA domain name is still available, you can register it without any restrictions whether you are a company, organisation or private individual. You do not need to reside in Ukraine or, for companies, to be set up in Ukraine.

Compared with .UA, this extension is a fully opened domain. So if you can't register a .UA domain, the .COM.UA is the sole alternative for registering a domain name in Ukraine.
