The company was created in France in early 2004 by a team who was passionate about information technology. It obtained accreditation in Belgium, France and Switzerland in order to manage domain name registrations for the French speaking market. The launch of the European .EU extension in 2006 was the turning point and NETIM launched its services onto the European market in English and started obtaining accreditations in other countries.

In order to complete its missions, NETIM is a registrar that has been accredited with dozens of extensions, which differentiates it from those who are just domain name resellers, and this ensures that you get a reliable, high performance and high quality service.

In order to be a domain name registrar worthy of this title, we must be both transparent and professional and this is why we promise to:

• Respect the owner's status. Registrations are made in the name of the owner specified on the order and declared in this quality to the domain name registry. We also guarantee that the owner's e-mail address will never be replaced by a NETIM address. (This occurs frequently with resellers).
• Respect the registration rules imposed in different countries. We will not try and get around these rules in order to sell more domain names.
• Comply with codes of conduct related to domain name management. NETIM is a signatory to the main codes of conduct such as the Eurid for .EU and the Italian one.
• Not sell our client list.
• Leave the client free to transfer his domain names to another registrar. This includes providing the authorisation code free of charge.
• Provide technical and commercial support for all client questions.
