From today, 1st May 2012, the extension of Portugal (the. PT) is fully opened!

Previously restricted to companies or trademarks valid in Portugal, and whose name had to match the syntax of the domain, .PT domain names can now be registered by anyone without restrictions on the choice of the domain name and without verification of eligibility. The .PT joins the .COM.PT which was, in turn, not restricted.
