ICANN’s meeting in Silicon Valley. The choice of this region is not really surprising.
Lots of people have been waiting for the ICANN’s 40th meeting. This one will take place in San Francisco, and more especially in The Silicon Valley which is located in the south of SF. This region is famous for its high technology companies and businesses. Silicon Valley is the third largest (cybercity) high-tech center in the United States
From the 13th to the 18th of March, people attending this meeting will be able to listen to burning lectures about WHOIS (“Whois policy team“, or “The technical evolution of the whois“), inter registers policy transfers, commercial and business offers constituency … It sounds like this meeting will be the opportunity to catch what will happen in 2011.
