Procedure for transferring .DK domain name

The transfer is free of charge because it is just a change of the billing contact without a domain name renewal. You will benefit from all our services until the expiration of the domain name, when you will have to renew with NETIM.

Requirements
In order to proceed with a transfer, the domain name's owner must request the change in the registrant's control panel at the registry.

Different stages
Once your order has been confirmed, the owner must follow the following steps:

The owner must connect to the registrant's website at the following URL: https://www.dk-hostmaster.dk/index.php?id=177


If you don't have the userid, you have to retreive it and the corresponding password:

• Perform a whois lookup onto our website
  In the result, section "Registrant", you will find the userid (Example XYZ1234-DK)
• Then at the following URL: http://www.dk-hostmaster.dk/index.php?id=184
  You can request the pincode (password) corresponding to your userid and you will receive it at the owner's email address.

Caution: if your current provider has specified his email address for the owner, you will never receive the password. In this case, you have to request to the current registrar the following step

Once connected into the registrant's website, click onto your domain name. Click on "change Billing contact" and enter REG-937651

The billing contact is change for NETIM now and you can send us an email in order to confirm us the change. The domain name will added to your account

You can transfer your domain whenever you want, no need to wait for the expiration in order to complete the domain transfer.

   Important information

• After the transfer: Your domain name's expiration date will not be changed. You will have to renew the domain with NETIM before its expiration date
