Procedure for transferring .NL domain name

Requirements
In order to proceed with a transfer, the domain name’s owner must confirm the operation with a form.

Also the current registrar must not object the transfer. So you must notify the current registrar of your wish to change the registrar to "NETIM".

Different stages
Once your order has been confirmed, we will send the document "Form for relocating a Domain Name" by email. This document has to be filled and signed very carefully by the owner in order to request the domain name transfer. Then the form must be sent back to NETIM by the way of your choice. After a manual check , we will request the transfer of your domain name to the registry. The latter will contact the current registrar of the domain name.

• In the event of acceptance within 3 working days, the transfer is immediatly carried out.
• In the event of refusal, the registry will request the "Form for relocating a Domain Name" and will decide by means of these documents whether or not the transfer will take place.
• In the event of failure to reply within 3 days, the transfer is carried out.

The registrant can also lodge an objection against the move within three working days.
The full transfer procedure can therefore take several days if the paperwork is needed.

Once the transfer has been finalised, the domain name's expiration date is extended for a one year period starting from the date of the end of transfer. For example, if the domain expires on the 12/31/2010 and if the transfer is carried out on the 09/15/2010, the new expiration date will then be the 09/15/2011.
